Prepare a worker and give it a job
Use a corpse with all six organs and no Surgeon’s Error on a Resurrection Table I. Have a collar that covers its red skull count in your backpack and Reanimation Liquid in open storage in the same room. Prepare it, use the Resurrection device on Envy day, then carry the raised zombie to a workbench and choose Put Zombie.
Set the workbench queue. Its zombie uses materials already in the bench; a zombie assigned to a Zombie Supplier Station in the same area can fulfill requests for missing materials from area storage.
Raise and assign the zombie
- Unlock Reanimation for Resurrection Table I, then place a corpse with all six organs and no Surgeon’s Error on the table.
- Carry a suitable collar in your backpack: Bronze covers up to 5 red skulls, Golden up to 10, and Steel up to 99. The first Bronze collars are in the Resurrection Lab chest; later ones are made at the Jewelry Table.
- Put Reanimation Liquid in open storage in the same room. Open the table, choose the collar, and press Prepare. This consumes the collar and liquid and locks the table until the zombie is raised.
- On Envy day, use the Resurrection device to raise every prepared table at once. Pick up the zombie, carry it to a workbench, and choose Put Zombie.
Keep materials moving to the bench
Unlock the Zombie Supplier Station through Zombie Assistant, build it close to production, and assign a zombie to it. A workbench zombie uses what is already in its bench and requests anything missing; the supplier fulfills those requests from storage in the same area. You can also provide the materials yourself.
When production pauses
- Why is my workbench zombie waiting for materials?
- It uses only materials already in the bench. Check its missing-material request and the area’s storage, then supply the bench yourself or use a zombie at a Zombie Supplier Station in the same area.
- Why has it stopped after finishing an item?
- Finished output waits in the bench. Collect it so the zombie can start the next queued item.
- Why does it stop without a message?
- Check whether the zombie meets the recipe’s mastery requirement and has the right tool; either problem can stop work without a message.
