Grow food for bread
Early farming supports a wheat-to-bread food supply. Develop Gardening, then Millstone, then Bread; build a wheat farm and mill, and repair the small kitchen to produce flour and bread. Before the farm is ready, berries and mushrooms are available as food.
Plant your first wheat
- What do I need before planting wheat?
- Unlock Gardening for 5 green points to get the Garden Beds needed for Herm’s wheat. Put a shovel on your hotbar for the green Mastery needed to plant in a garden bed.
- Where can I get wheat seed?
- Buy wheat seed at Herm’s store for his quest.
- When should I plant the wheat?
- Plant wheat early. It grows by itself while you work on the twins’ plates.
